april 24, 2026 is the full main release date (hopefully) and it's pretty far away! we have a month blocking the way which should give me lots of time.
now, we (wait who's we) are adding tons of stuff from now on. auth's RNG is too feature packed? too bad go overwhelm yourself even more. im gonna add the following:
sounds useless.. right? well it's actually (probably) good because with the current music uploading system, it's very very limited. this is due to browser constraints and the fact that you dont upload music to a server. so why not add spotify intergration? you can link and authorize your spotify account and play your songs on spotify, on auth's RNG! maybe this is overkill because you can just mute auth's RNG and then play spotify in a different tab or app? whatever, im out of ideas so i dont care hahahahah
legacy mode isnt very... uhm... seamless. its mostly good and functional but there are some important and annoying caveats about it. it's mostly javascript events firing in the wrong way. legacy mode's literally stacking the pages in a column and the shop and settings in different buttons, so of course its gonna be annoying and buggy
you can reorder pages/content with settings! you can re-order pages, re-order content to what you need to check most, and all fun and games! it'll be in a snap-to-grid fashion. this might be a bad idea to code and debug... not gonna lie...
i want it so you can customize everything down to the PIXELS. colors, your own stuff, everything. i really just wanna see cool designs people make to be honest, but i also wanna give you more and more control
basically a set of rarities you can try and collect, and if you get all the rarities in the gauntlet you get prizes, +5 anomalies, 20 second luck boost, whatever.
this is a spicy (and probably useless) one. you can download assets and mods from the community! it'll all be on a seperate website since neocities doesnt like server-side stuff. you can develop mods with javascript, css, html, the big three, and send it over to me for review! then once it gets accepted you can see your mod on the store, and you can download and use them. the mods/assets HAVE to not touch the base game (prevents cheating) and only serve the purpose of adding new stuff on top of stuff.
theres OBVIOUSLY gonna be more added to the game, obvious ones like more cutscenes, community stuff, all that jazz.
these ideas MIGHT be not implemented as im just brainstorming stuff right now. i might cry during coding, who knows.
see you in april 24, 2026!
